This weekend, from 11th to 14th May 2023, all wine lovers gathered in Poreč, Croatia. They attended one of the most significant wine competitions, the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles at the 30th edition of this festival.
A total of 7,504 wine samples from over 50 countries are being evaluated, including 220 Croatian wines.
This competition is widely known and recognized in the winemaking world as the most prestigious and rigorous wine competition. A total of 350 wine experts will be evaluating the wines. Each wine will be tasted by five to six carefully selected wine professionals. “When five people, five different nationalities, different profiles, all say that a wine is good, then we can be certain that it is good,” explained Mr. Quentin Havaux, the Executive Director of Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.
