Preloščica and Čigoč are two beautiful villages located in the Lonjsko Polje Nature Park, a protected wetland area that’s home to numerous species of plants and animals. Recently, over 180 cyclists took part in a one-day adventure to explore the area on their bikes.
The adventure started in the early morning hours, as the group of cyclists gathered in Preloščica, a small village nestled in the heart of the nature park. From there, the group set out on a scenic cycling route that took them through the beautiful countryside.
The route wound its way through Čigoč, another charming village located nearby. Here, the cyclists were able to take a break and enjoy the unique sights and sounds of the area, including the numerous storks that call the village home.
As the day wore on, the cyclists continued their journey, passing through other picturesque villages and admiring the beautiful scenery around them. The route was not challenging.
After several hours of cycling, the group arrived back in Preloščica, tired but exhilarated from their one-day adventure. Many of the cyclists commented on the stunning beauty of the area, as well as the warm hospitality and friendly atmosphere of the local communities they encountered along the way.
